On a effectivement du café au nez; mais l’olfactif est difficile à percevoir. On y décèle des notes de boisé, de torréfaction, d’alcool. Pas impressionné plus qu’il ne faut par l’olfactif. De couleur noire, la mousse est brune avec une bonne densité et d’épaisseur petite à moyenne tout en s’effaçant assez rapidement. L’attaque développe une chaleur d’alcool assez intense avec des notes de vanille, de fudge, de praline et de café léger. Également présentes, des notes de boisé. On est surtout dans les accents chocolatés avec un peu de torréfaction. Elle présente une bonne complexité et une amertume assez prononcée en arrière bouche. Mi vineuse / mi résineuse. Les sucres sont plus dominants. Ça rappelle le gâteau foret noire. Une stout intéressante et différente.
