On tap at Lake Chalet. It pours a dark golden, light amber color with an off white head. The aroma has lots of cooked veggies with a little toast, caramel and fruit. The flavor is the same. Pretty dense rye maltiness but it has some sweet caramel too. Syrupy mouth feel and sweet with some significant off flavors (cooked veggies). Subpar.

On tap at Lake Chalet. It pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is piney and a little flowery with some caramel. The flavor has big floral hops, cooked veggies and light caramel. It has a strong floral bitterness in the finish. Not something I’d try again.

On tap at Lake Chalet under the Lady of the Lake alias. It pours a pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma has huge notes of buttered popcorn and dough. Uncooked grains. The flavor is the same. Low carbonation with heavy notes of butter and lighter notes of lemon and noble hops. Pretty much a train wreck.

On tap at Lake Chalet. It pours a dark brown color with red highlights. Mostly clear with a khaki head. The aroma is a little smoky with some cocoa and coffee. Not bad. The flavor is a little worse with some dirt and heavy roasted malt. Ash, and toasted malt. A bit acrid in the finish with low carbonation. Meh.

On tap at Lake Chalet in Oakland. Labeled as Regatta Red. It pours a clear red amber color with a foamy khaki head. The aroma is decent with some toasted malt, red berries and a hint of molasses. The flavor also has some toasted malt, a little caramel and low to medium piney bitterness. Low carbonation and a bit flabby in the mouth feel. One of their more tolerable beers.

From bomber to glass. Aromas of metallic-rich malt and toffee. Pours perfectly clear amber orange with an off-white head that is shortly sustained and leaves a collar of large bubbles. Taste is metal and oxidation, with a mid-palate of caramel malt and a quick bitter finish that includes floral hops.
