At brewpub, black beer, small head. Aroma is malt, roast, coffee. Taste is the same, sweet, bitter, fruity, ok.

On tap at Zest. Pours an opaque cola brown with some sudsy white head. Nose has malt, toast, licorice, some coffee, coffee bean. Flavor has malt soda, toast, coffee bean, cocoa powder, caramel, dark bread. Finishes off dry, roasty. Not bad. ABV is perfect. 7 4 7 4 14

Draft at Zest, pours a hazy orange with some sticky, white head. Nose has biscuit, stale bread, heavy dried lemon rind and orange rind, a little parm. Flavor is better, malty, soapy, potpourri, biscuit, still cheesy, orange. Dry finish, medium bodied.

7 3 8 3 15Draft at The brewpub. Very hazy amber with a cream coloured head. Aroma of herbal hops and grassy notes with light fruits and citrus behind and coming out more as it warms. Flavour is light moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with a juicy finish and soft carbonation.
