0.33 l bottle from 'Trinkgut Wodzak' (Castrop-Rauxel), best before March 2024. A little hazy, deep amber with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity-floral, quite yeasty aroma of rubber, plastic, grains and some lemon peel. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly floral and quite yeasty taste of grains, lemon peel, rubber, plastic and iron, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Another drainpour from this brewer.

Bottle, danke Günther. Dark murky brown, golden brown foam layer. Fairly spicy nose, ginger, cocoa, cardemom. Medium body, coffee roast, milk chocolate notes, fudge, candied oranges, a hint roasted tartness, spice retronasal. A bit confused in the flavor profile but feels wintery and festive.

Swing-top bottle: Deep amber coloured, presumably hazy, smaller slowly collapsing off-white head, sweetish fruity (first signs of infection???) and nutty-caramelly nose; mild sweet-bitter flavour, nearly medium bodied, a bit fizzy; toasty-caramelly and fruity aromas in the slightly lingering sweet-bitter finish. Not completely convincing. Unfortunately not brewed by MORITZ FIEGE…

0.33 l bottle from 'Weinhandel Häckel', bottled in September 2021. Hazy, deep orangeish amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity aroma of orange jam and tangerine. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity taste of orange jam, tangerine and light honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently dry finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!

Sweetish, quite fruity-floral, gently grassy aroma of orange peel, fresh grass and tangerine. Moderately sweet, gently bitter, rather fruity, gently grassy taste of orange peel, grapefruit, tangerine and some fresh grass, followed by a short, quite bitter, gently dry, moderately grassy finish. Medium body, smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nicely hoppy and fruity, very well-balanced, tasty beer. Easily the best I've ever had from Hanno.
