0.33 l bottle from 'Craft Bier Bude', 5.3% abv, best before February 2023. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, minimally grassy aroma of grains, some straw and traces of lemon peel. Gently sweet, malty, moderately taste of grains, straw and a touch of vanilla, followed by a short, gently bitter, minimally grassy finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Average Export, quite drinkable but fairly bland.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, smaller, slowly collapsing white head, moderate sweetish-bitter grainy-dusty nose with malty spots and mineralic traces, herbal hops underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, crunchy MF; lingering sweet grainy and later herba-bitter finish. Decent drop…

Weich herber Beginn. Milde Süße, helles Getreide, süffig, einfach. Konstante Aromatik, wenig bitter, kernig, mittellanger Abgang. 8/5/2021. Bottle courtesy of Idiosynkrasie, cheers Boris! Pours almost clear dark amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of toffee, biscuit, sweet malt, grain, wet cardboard, some stewed fruits. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Slight metallic edge to finish. Okay example of a style I don’t particularly enjoy.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy and grassy, hoppy as well as biscuity, pale malty aroma, notes of lemon, lemon peel, lemon biscuit, a touch of lemon balm. Taste is bitter, herbal grassy and minimally citrusy hoppy, hints of lemon balm, a touch of lemon, pale malty basis without residual sweetness. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft, almost a bit flat carbonation. Light, simple, easy drinkable - OK as starter for the sceptical craft beer newbie, does in no way overstrain.
