Bottle at Tollboden. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is fruit, tropical fruit, hop. Flavour is sweet, fruit, tropical fruit, pine, hop, chili, mango. Full body. Very nice beer.

Bottle, 65 cl, at Øltorget, Vulkan. A small, dense, off-white head forms over an orange-golden body. The aroma is spiced and peppery, some cedar like notes occur, there’s lots of citrus peel, some lemon grass and apricot. It’s a bit too bitter I think, and there’s more lemongrass than I’d like, but it also have the same spiced, peppery and cedar like things found in the aroma. Citrus peel too. It’s full-bodied and lightly warming, with a nice carbonation level. Lasting finish with lime and bitterness. Wonderful aroma in this one, pity the flavor isn’t at the same level. Still, it’s a fine brew. 140503

Nydelig smak av friske citrus frukter og en anelse honning. Dunkel gulbrun farge. Tynt dekkende skum, noe heng langs kant. Frisk god smak av citrus og noe honning med en finn litt syrlig ettersmak av citrus.

Big offwhite head. Clear yellow body with carbonation. Resiny grassy pineapple aroma with spicy wooden notes. Dry-sweet peachy wine grape taste with spicy wooden grassy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish mealy citric resiny aftertaste with gooseberry and wood notes. Nice, drinkable, and full of flavour. (0.65l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Biggish offwhite head. Clear yellow body with lots of floaties. Tropcial fruit, resin and mint aroma with spicy herbal orangey notes. Sweet-dryish strawy toffee and herbs taste with gingery resiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish gingery resiny orangey aftertaste with spicy herbal notes. Nice, mild, drinkable, interesting, different. Really an unusual beer. (0.75l bottle, from wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Very dark brown color. Nice frothy light brown head. Chilli spice, dark chocolate (I guess cocoa nibs)z the nought is med with lots of cocoa nibs, and the chilli hits the back of your throat. Decent body. Can’t get much of the agave, which is probably a good thing. Slightly boozy finish. Drinks a bit higher alcohol than what it is. Very enjoyable.

Med brown color, with russet tinges. The nose is very sweet, too sweet malt character, with a touch of glazed honey ham. The mouth is too sweet, but shows nice depth of tootie rolls, cherries, brandy with sweet chocolatiness. A touch cloying. Great depth, but the sweetness is highly distracting from the over all beer.
