(Can) Dark brown colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark chocolate, coffee, liquorice, dried fruit, treacle and vanilla. Malty, roasted taste with notes of cacao, coffee, liquorice, dates, treacle, vanilla and a touch of chilli in a finish with a mild roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a mild chilli touch. Quite nice.

It seems more like a Baltic Porter than anything to me I'm missing some of the key enhanced qualities like the smoke in the chili.

Can. Dark brown body with a dense beige head. Aroma has malt, hint of caramel and some dry fruit. Flavor is decent, tasty, rather malty, hint of chocolate and mild spicy. Medium body and average aftertaste. Decent but feels a bit plain, not much chili. Suspect this might be a bit to old for the chili burn.

From a 330ml can on 1/2/2018. Pours a deep brown with a medium head. The nose features dark malts, chocolate and a touch of coffee. Taste wise, it starts quite sweet with chocolate and caramel, followed by a moderate bitterness which finishes with pleasant spicy kick. Chili beers are not usually my bag, but this one gets the balance right. There's a warming kick that's noticeable but mot overwhelming. Very pleasant drinking.

15th Dec 2017, five beers on draft from this brewery at the Stadium Brewing Company, Aliso Viejo, California, I had all five, this being the one I liked the least as I am not a huge 'smokey beer bloke'. Black bodied with a good tanned topping. Light smokey aroma and taste, some vanilla maybe, chocolate notes also within the flavours, didn't get any chili heat though.

30.07.2016, 0,33l can @ local tasting:
Small shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry roasted, dark malts, minerals, grass, grain, weeds, toast, chocolate, caramel, burnt chili. Taste is slightly dry roasted, weeds, roasted grain, minerals, paper, burnt caramel, hay, hints of chili. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough, kind of strange.
