Bottle. Color: Murky brown, no head. Aroma: Caramel, malty, grapes, raisins, Port. Taste: Syrupy, caramel, raisins, grapes, Sherry / Port, dark fruit, dark chocolate and licorice. Over medium to full body, low carbonation. Boozy towards and at the finish. Medium to over medium sweet, over moderate bitterness. Ok, but no top for me.

Bottle sourced from Beerdome and drunk at home - New 🇬🇷 brewery ✅ pours black with a brown head. Dark roasted and sweet malty with lots of rich chocolate, some liquorice, fudge and caramel sweetness coming in, ashy burnt malts, touch of coffee roast, silky mouthfeel, full bodied, dark malty finish. Lovely, great first impression.

Black with a small tan head. Aroma of oak, chocolate, vanilla, licorice and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

350 bottle with Fin at Christmas. Dark brown, no head, funky nose with some soy notes. Flavor is a bit sweet-sour, I don't get the mushroom component (compared to the base beer), a bit tangy and acidic but I do taste a bit more winey notes in this than its parent brew. Not improved much by the barrel in this case.

Bottle at the Munich Ratebeer Christmas tasting, at Jonas's, Garching, Friday 17th December 2021. Unusual nose, mushrooms, musty strange at first but improves (albeit slowly) Pours dark brown, a little murkiness, sourness. Fruity with a tang to the mincemeat cake. Good but the base beer is much the better beer.
