Fairly hazy dull peach with very little head. Aroma of citrus, dank hops and weed. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light bodied with soft carbonation. It’s no looker but it’s pretty tasty for a 2% IPA.

Bottle courtesy of Kostas, Kykao brewery, Patras, Greece, cheers my friend. Had this at home Wednesday 7th July 2021 listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session and getting ready for England v Denmark Semi Final of the COVID delayed 2020 Euro Championship. Pours warm gold with a haze, a white head atop. Yea this really straddles the beer/wine divide, fruity, zappy and with wine like characteristics throughout, however even at 13% it has a beer like drinkability, I am not sure what thiol yeast strain is but it really stamps it's thumbprint all over this, offering up a wild/light tart beer quality, grapey, white wine flavours flood through though and with a lingering fruity bite. Great.

Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of green weeds, nettles, tropical fruits, citrus and orange. A fair few different hop characters showing up here. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle courtesy of Kostas from Kykao brewery, Patras Greece, Cheers Kostas! and consumed at home Saturday 12th June 2021. Listening to Jon Hopkins - Immunity We have Xenofon, Anastasia, Vassos and Kostas around today, cooking Chicken Tikka Kebabs, Fish Goujons, Chorizo and Halloumi Kebabs and Moroccan Lamb Kebabs with Tsatsiki, Turkish Flatbread, Greek and Italian Salads (*we've gone for it!) Pours warm gold with a haze and a white head, it looks really good. The honey is noted on the nose, it is a little resinous, (pine resins?).In the flavour department this really sings, honey, a little resinous again, gentle hoppiness throughout, a touch dry, refreshing and really nice mouthfeel. This is another very nice beer from Kykao.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, brown head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty and caramel malty, slightly spicy and vinous fruity, yeasty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, couverture, chocolate sauce, hints of blue grapes, red wine, dark caramel, whiffs of marmite. Taste is bitter, roasty, chocolately dark malty, notes of chocolate sauce, dark chocolate, couverture, dark caramel, vinous fruity, yeasty hints of blue grapes, a marmite touch, some resinous aspects; well hidden alcohol. Viscous texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft, creamy texture. Intense and condensed, harmonious and balanced, dangerously drinkable - very good!

Bottle, thanks a lot Fin! Cloudy copper, offwhite lace. Dry wood, light vanilla and apricot, light leaf, medium mellow foamy Chewy body, dry honey, spruce wood, stonefruit, flowery, rose, apricot. Super interesting.
