Bottle thx to benzai. Not pitch black, some redness shining through, no head. Smells roasty, dark chocolate, raisins, smokey. Tastes some coffee, roasty malts, some dark chocolate. Not really extreme. Great carbo, but could use a bit more body. Still nice though.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Gent, Belgium 26th May 2012 consumed sat outside Frank (camper) Garmisch ’Zugpitze’ campsite, Germany 27th May 2012 6%. Brewfist Burocracy IPA. Pours cloudy reddy amber with no head, quite resiney & piney suggests Loz. Very similar mouthfeel to the Spaceman IPA i.e. soft and lightly tingly bubbles but this is where the similarities end. Bitterness is middling there is also a little bit of parma violets in the mouth but for me this is just a little to safe, there is a sweetness that crops up occasionally but this beer whilst pleasant is not a patch on the Spaceman IPA. Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Gent, Belgium 26th May 2012 consumed sat outside Frank (camper) Salzburg, Austria Friday 1st June 2012 Brewfist Fear Milk Chocolate Stout. Dark, dark brown with a tan head. Really smooth, quite milky and chocolatey in mouth with a slight bitterness at the end. Soft in the mouth, almost like a cold bubbly ’not so hot chocolate’ it’s a ’one trick pony, but who cares when its a great trick’. I really like this, the chocolate is just great. Pours amber with a lasting head.NOse shows soft pine, resin and grapefruit, along with some biscuit-like malt.Similar flavours: grapefruit, pine, caramel and biscuit notes. A bold, sharp, piny bitterness finishes things off. Quite enjoyable.Carbonation seems just a little full on.

25 cl. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas // Italian Beer Festival // amber with a creamy white head // smell is quite fruity, hops, exotic fruits mainly, touch peach as well & pine resin // taste is also exotic fruits, caramel, on the sweeter side for an IPA, which I like as well, touch bitter, going floral, lighter hop bitterness in the finish mixed with pine resin & main exotic fruits // m/m
