Can. Bronze golden pour. Aroma of creamy pine, grapefruit, bready malt and mango. Taste has strange creamy herbal grapefruit, bready malt, some caramel and herbal sweet pine. I wouldn't call this a neipa, this is a hoppy bitter amber ale. Meh.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus, Culemborg. Hazy amber with a white head. Citrus and pineapple aroma with a malty undertone. Bitter taste with a bitter finish. Bit old perhaps but still tasty.

(Draught at Helst, Amsterdam, 24 Aug 2018) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, lime, lemon and tropical fruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, lime, lemon, bread, grass and a mild citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and refreshing, with focus mainly on the lime. Quite nice.

(Draught at Bierlokaal De Uiver, Haarlem, 23 Aug 2018) Dark red colour with lasting, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of strawberry yoghurt, citrus, blood orange and a touch of cranberries. Fruity, hoppy taste with blood orange, strawberries, pink grapefruit, red fruit and a fairly dry finish with a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and quite interesting with an IPA with a strawberry touch. Quite nice.

F: big, beige, good retention. C: deep coppery to brown, bit hazy. A: malty, caramel, dark bread, leaves, fruity. T: malty, bready, caramel, herbal, fruity, bit chocolate, medium body and soft carbonation, nice one, enjoyed, 33cl bottle (7%) from Beerwulf webshop.

“White IPA” by this young Dutch beer company, thanks Craftmember for sharing at tderoeck’s place, bottle from a local Jumbo supermarket in the northern Netherlands apparently. Egg-white, mousy, slowly dissipating head lacing in dots over a hazy yellowish ‘old gold’ robe. Aroma of spoiling leek soup and withered dill, herbes de Provençe, dry hay, some soap, dusty coriander seed, roses, old bready crumbs, banana peel. Sweetish onset, touch of unripe banana, apple and pineapple, medium carb, slick and bit soapy body. Wheaty, bread-crusty malt base, spiced with seemingly a dash of coriander seed before the hops set in, in a dried old citrus peel- and withered kitchen herb-like way, adding only mild spicy-bitterness to the finish, way too mild to deserve IPA status. More a Belgian style witbier with not very elegantly applied American wheat ale influences. Drinkable, but not an IPA, not even a white one in the strict sense of the word.
