Poured from a 16 oz can dated March 16, 2020. Aroma has a medium light grain note, cracker and bread mostly. Quite a large hop character with fairly strong orange, tangerine, mango and stone fruit notes. Light grassy notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a hazy, dusty, dull, dirty straw color with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light grain notes of cracker and hints of biscuit and wheat. Medium low bitterness and light alcohol spice. Fairly strong hop notes of orange, grapefruit and tropical citrus with lighter notes of tropical fruit and stone fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice IPA that does a good job of highlighting the hop character, both in aroma and flavor.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated March 3, 2020. Aroma had a moderately strong, fruity hop profile. Lychee, passion fruit, stone fruit and citrus notes with lighter dank notes. Light cracker malt notes with hints of alcohol. Pours a slightly hazy, dull, golden straw with a medium large, thick, frothy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Medium light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness with light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes of citrus, mango, pineapple, stone fruit and lychee. Light dank, resin and pine notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent West Coastish IPA. It's definitely not fully West Coast style with a bit of haze and juiciness. Its also not as assertively butter as I would expect from a West Coast IPA.

Overall, a nice beer, but I like the clear, crisp west coast version that still.has nice fruity hop notes. This has a bit of a flabby malt character to it in comparison.
