Tap at Ale Arsenal. First rating of the beer, and my first pint from this brewer. Beautiful aromas of citrus and pine. Moderate bitterness and faint bready malt provide for a well balanced beer. Taste is also clean and vibrant with citrus dominating. Tasty.

Pint can. The beer is hazy and yellow - not too pale for a pilsner, though. White head. Some lacing. The aroma is lemony with some grassy hops and a touch of pepper. Palt malt sweetness. Very bright and fresh. A little bit of honeysuckle-ish flavor in there. It’s both sweeter and has a bit more lingering bitterness than your average pilsner, but it works nicely for the beer. Very clean flavor without any off flavors in the finish. There’s some body to it but it maintains the necessary crispness of the style. A little more herbal hoppiness comes out in the taste. Still very fresh and bright, overall. Easy to drink. Finishes dry without any cloying aftertaste or slickness. Quite enjoyable.

Poured from a 16 oz can. Aroma is very fruity with tangerine and mandarin citrus notes as well as mango, passion fruit and melon. Light resin and dank notes with hints of lemon and lime. Light cracker malt notes. Pours a very hazy, pale straw color with a medium sized, fairly thick and creamy, white head that slowly recedes to a thin film that lingers. Moderately high lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with some light grain and cracker malt notes. Lots of bright citrus notes with tangerine, mandarin, lemon and lime. Some light mango, passion fruit and melon with light dank notes as well. Medium to medium low bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice, fruity IPA. Great citrus and tropical fruit notes with hints of resin. Balanced sweetness and bitterness. Easy drinking.

On draft at Beer Revolution. It pours black with a creamy tan head. The aroma has strong coffee, a little peanut and dark chocolate. The flavor is super chocolaty with some hints of coffee and peanuts. Not really getting much vanilla. Smooth on the palate. Rich, but drinkable. I could’ve done with a bit more vanilla sweetness actually, but still tasty.

On draft at Temescal. It pours a lightly hazed pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is wheat forward with a little lemon, orange and grapefruit. Lots of citrus and wheat, almost like a Witbier. The flavor is soft and lightly creamy with lots of wheat, light mandarin orange and lemon. Light bodied and refreshing.
