Draft at 6.7%. A hazy golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of hops, fruit, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, hops, oranges, and other fruit, leading to a bitter finish.

Draft at the brewpub. The beer is a bit watery, but it’s a 5% abv porter. Nice chocolate flavor. It pushes toward fruitiness but it’s pleasant enough. Very mild roast. Pretty much all chocolate with some light cola flavor. Nice, light caramel backbone. Mild flavors, which is the main issue. Mildly sweet in the taste. Light milk chocolate. Light body. More cola in the finish. Nice enough but not in the same class as their hoppy beers.

Draft at the brewpub. Another very well done example of Northeast hops. Very nice hop flavors in the aroma. Big mango with tangerine, pineapple, lime, grass, kiwi. Mild crackery malt. Light yeastiness. Good juiciness. Lots of hop flavor in the taste. Mild bitterness. Fairly dry. Light, smooth mouthfeel. Medium yellow color with a creamy white head. Very good beer.

Draft at the brewpub. What an odd place to find Northeast style hops. It’s a touristy sports bar with a couple fermenters behind a giant TV. Big hop flavors. Lime, kiwi, melon, tangerine. Very mild malt backbone. Nice mineral flavor. Moderate bitterness. Big hop flavor. Nice chalky feel. Very light body. Super refreshing. The beer is very cloudy. Yellow with a little orange. Very good stuff.

Tap. Pours quite hazy golden, medium white head, creamy and slow to dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is floral, passionfruit, guava, lemon, field grass. Flavor is dry, light bitter, juicy, herbal, somewhat watery. Light body but a creamy mouthfeel.

On tap at the 2016 SF beer week opening gala. It pours an orange/golden color with an off white head. The aroma has big, potent tangerine notes. Very zesty. The flavor is the same. Citrusy tangerine and lime. Juicy and zesty. Soft bitterness. Good.

On tap at the 2016 SF beer week opening gala. It pours a dark brown color with a light tan head. The aroma is very sweet with coffee creamer, a little smoke and hazelnut. The flavor is the same. Sweet mocha coffee, hazelnut and cream. Dessert-like, but not too thick or cloying. I liked this one.

On tap at the brewery. Hazed golden orange coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is fairly nice perfumed citrus, nelson sauvin and some tropical notes, mango. Flavour is composed of some doughy grains, bready, bitter lemon, hint of smoke, slightly catty. Assertive slightly dirty back of the throat hop bitterness. Palate is medium bodied, some grainy, highish carbonation. Decent IPA.
