Pours amber/copper with a small fading head.Nose shows truckloads of caramel, toffee, golden syrup and malt-o-milk biscuits. Crazy tempting.Flavours include more toffee and caramel, more caramel biscuit notes, a hint of salt, cookie dough, golden syrup. And still somehow very drinkable, not too much sweetness at all.

From a 375ml can on 29/8/2020. Pours a clear medium amber with a medium head. The smell is extraordinary - seriously big caramel and popcorn notes. Tastes sweet and dessertish, caramel dominating again with distinct popcorn notes at the back. This is met by a very gentle bitterness which takes the edge off the sweetness. Medium bodied with moderate to average carbonation. A dessert amber ale? Hell yeah! A highly original and delicious brew that achieves everything is sets out to do.

From a 330ml bottle on 26/8/2020. Pours the darkest of browns with a smallish head. The nose is quite sharp and roasty with a bit of soy and chocolate. It starts out very sweet, with chocolate, caramel, dates and raisins there's lots to counter with roasted malt, sea salt, soy, licorice and booze. The mouthfeel is oily and syrupy, the carbonation softish. Big, bold, intense and complex. Nice stuff.

Bottle. Gold with a white head that lasts OK. Gentle aroma of light bread, orange, pepper. Dryish and a little grainy with orange and spices. Finishes dry with decent bitterness. Not bad at all and a fair few rungs above their old lager.

From a 375ml can on 18/7/2020. Pours a murky dark brown with virtually no head. The aroma features lots of banana, some chocolate and nuts. Tastes of milk chocolate, caramel and vanilla, with a slightly tangy banana aftertaste. Finishes with a mild bitterness. The mouthfeel is thick, the carbonation soft. Unusual and comes together quite nicely.

Can. Amber with a white head that fades from a cm. 3- Aroma of juicy oranges, some peach and cantaloupe, breadcrust, pepper. It's joltingly more vibrant upon a sip with zestier citrus and punchier spices at the quite bitter finish. Plenty going on but lacked harmony.
