A bang on NEIPA. Lots of orange, plus pineapple, biscuit and vanilla. Nice chewy palate. Very enjoyable.

A delicious beer that I'm trying not to pour down my gullet all in one go. Caramel dominates the aroma, with vanilla, lemon and biscuit. A beautiful, smooth mouthfeel with just a touch of bitterness at the end. Not the slightest bit cloying. A ripper.

From a 440ml can on 16/12/2020 (label says Mystic DDH DIPA). Pours a clear medium golden with a smallish head. The nose presents some modest fruit notes and doesn't really hint at what's to come. The flavour is actually quite unusual - has a the caramel/biscuit malt character of a WC but then hits you with citrus and tropical fruit sweetness more akin to a hazy. There's a nice hop bitterness balancing things out and it's mighty easy to down given the size. The mouthfeel is syrupy and oily, the carbonation moderate. Somewhat unusual but very enjoyable.

From a 440ml can on 29/11/2020. Pours a cloudy light gplden with a medium head. has a pleasant fruit salad nose. On the sip, it's packed full of flavour - lots of sweet pineapple, mango apricot and coconut. Finishes with a strong lemony, zesty bitterness, with a bit of hop burn at the back, which is my only real knock against it. The mouthfeel is quite creamy and silky, the carbonation average. Quite impressive and just needs to lose the burn.

It's a fruit salad - aromas of pineapple, strawberry, apricot, pine neeedles, lemon, cream and oats. It's smooth, creamy and disturbingly easy-drinking, with a tangy lemon tart finish. Subtle and divine.

From a 375ml can on 19/11/2020. Pour a red/amber with a big foamy head. Has reasonably strong cherry nose. The taste is pretty sweet - lots of milky vanilla, a bit of marzipan and mild cherry tartness at the back. The lactose makes the mouthfeel creamy and the carbonation is just discernible (I still struggle badly with the merit of nitro beers). It's actually reasonably pleasant drinking if a little messy.
