A lovely looking beer with a strong mandarin aroma, plus pine needles and bread. It has a very fizzy palate, with grapefruit finishing strongly. Nice, but not a classic.

Can. Black; a tan head is gone in a trice. 3- Assertive dark roasted coffee aroma with some caramel and vanilla. Smooth texture. Very sweet with the overt lactose being the icecream. But balanced by really quite bitter coffee and roast. Not totally my sort of thing but well done.

Can. Around 8C - colder than intended but worked well. Hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma of mandarin, grapefruit, twigs, light tropical fruit, bread. Intensely fruity taste with loads of citrus before some twiggy and slightly earthy notes creep in a the fairly bitter finish. Refreshing, complex, harmonious.

Can. Orange with a white head and some chunks - perhaps if I were not expecting haze I wouldn't have got chunks. Aroma strikes the might be additions but not too obviously so sweet spot. Lots of orange, crackers, tropical fruit, some sharpening citrus. The taste is fruity with again mostly orange but firmer malt and much firmer bitterness than expected. The finish really brings things together.

Can. Gold with a loose cm of white head. Aroma of passionfruit, mango, breadcrust, mandarin. Fairly dry with crackers and just a little breadcrust, tropical and citrus notes that rapidly bring on the crisp moderately bitter finish. Solid drop.

Aromas of mandarin and orange marmalade, plus some honey and biscuit. It's got a very fizzy and dry mouthfeel with a predominantly pine taste. Smells good, has a very satisfying orange fog look, but the taste is disappointing. The opposite of juicy.

Can. Amber with a fading cream head. Aroma of gingerbread. Medium bodied. Quite sweet. Spicy with a lick of bitterness at the end. Sweet bread and biscuit with ginger, orange peel, cardamom and cloves (?). It's well done because the spices don't overwhelm but it's not too sweet.

From a 355ml can on 20/12/2022. Pours a cloudy pink guava juice colour with little in the way of head. Smells of strawberries and cream lollies. The taste follows suit - some nice strawberry sweetness up front followed by a sweet creamy and lightly tangy finish. Hasa slightly creamy mouthfeel and average carbonation. A really nice and interesting little ale.

Can from Winerack at home. Opaque black pour with perfect tan foamy head - dense and thick. Aroma is roasty, dusty, woody (like an SN beer somehow). Not mainly chocolate or coffee, more roasted bitterness. Nice. Taste is similarly roasted dark bitterness. Medium rich palate with good carbonation and slight slight chalkiness. Lasting mild licorice finish but not in a way that I don’t like (I don’t like licorice that much). Overall more roasted dark bitter spice licorice wood. Good. Probably wouldn’t get again.

Can. Amber with a white head that fades from a a cm. Rather shy aroma with pineapple, guava and some citrus travel lollies. Some breadcrust and mild tropical fruit start the taste but then nice pine notes take hold and it's much more compelling towards the gently resinous bitter finish. Fires on some cylinders.
