Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of earthy notes, berries, hints of sweet syrup and caramel. Taste is stuffy, yeasty and earthy with notes of berries and caramel. Finish is homebrewish, stuffy and earthy. Quite weird.

Label says "IPA" and lager, what gives?
Aroma has fruit candy, hayish tones and some citrusy cleaning liquid. Also nettles. Flavour is bitter in a harsh way with lots of gooseberry bush, some grapefruit and minerals. Not as bad as you’d expect by the bottle and label. Totally weird but I seem to enjoy this.

Plastic bottle 1l at home, Helsinki. BBE 14.12.2014. Thanks to Marduk/FatPhil. Colour is cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Some fruits, berries, grain, some sourness and malts. There is something wrong with this one.

brown plastic bottle 1000ml. -from small stand within Tesco Törökbalint. Cola coloured, minimal off-white head, some caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel and subdued coffee with hint of chocolate in the finish. Drinkable but nothing special.

Ogi’s. After trying so many... beers... from this... brewery... what was there to expect from this? More than one should’ve, it turned out. POured a cola body with a small white head. Sweet caramelly nose, light light sweat (yay!). Hmmm... just a tad too carbonated for its own good, otherwise more harmless than expected, very light chocolate, very light coffee, generally nice maltiness, and the swampy/sweaty notes that generally plague their beers are quite inconspicuous, though certainly here, buried underneath. Ok enough. And that’s a compliment.

1L plastic bottle, courtesy of Kinga and Joerg, thank you so much! Deep red colour, fine carbonation, brown head. Sweet malt and roast sugar nose, light bisquit malt, a hint licorice, finely hopped finish - light citric and grassy. Medium to light body, mellow sparkly mouthfeel. Light on the palate, quite pleasantly fresh and moreish really.

Ogi’s. Plastic bottle. Poured a lovely dark red/amber/brownish body with a huge off white head. The staleness (tired yeast as a descriptor?) shows up in the nose, but far less than in their regular lager. Light malty nose, caramel, that’s pretty much it. Ok, slightly caramelly, slightly herbal empty taste. Actually passable.

Ogi’s. Shiny pink/red body. Sweaty typically "bad Hungarian macro" notes, sewage with notes of honey and cherry. Too damn sweet malty aroma with fake cherry notes. Crap indeed. Made by or for a company called Smaklig Maltid... why they chose to use a Swedish name, I don’t know.
