On tap at Frog XVI. Smooth and slightly sourish beginning. Malty body with hints of chocolate and roast. Very dry with a nice normally stout-typical sourness. Malty dry, moderate malt bitter, not much hops. Full and rich creamy sourish toasty malty aftertaste. Great!

Bottle in Paris. Smooth mild beginning. Not too intense. Hints of lemon, not much ginger. Sweetish and easy to drink. No depth, refreshing with a not much bitter aftertaste. Fruity but not more.

Bottle in Paris. The beer starts smooth with a sweetish body. Not too intense, not too floral. Smooth mild with fruity hints. No bitterness, hints of grain, easy to drink with not much depth. Dry-smooth aftertaste with hints of a citrus-fruity mildness.

Bottle in Paris. Great floral dark nose. The beer starts intense bitter with a dry roasted body. Lots of floral and pine with a heavy bitterness, that fits in great. The body is dark and malty in the background. Floral bitterness, dark roasted burned malt. Hints of dark dried fruit, caramel, smooth and round. The aftertaste is dry and malty burned together with an intense hoppiness. Round, smooth and great and still good drinkable! Fascinating for a French brew. Great black session-IPA

Bottle from "au Repaire de Bacchus"-wine store in Paris. Smooth malty beginning. Smooth, not too deep but easy to drink. Slightly ale-sourish malty with a nice dark-malty and moderate bitter aftertaste. For a typical Bitter too mild and sweetish, but for a beer brewed in France not bad.

Dunkel Blonde pours a deep rich brown with a nutty, chocolatey aroma. Very much a Dunkel but not at all blonde. Decent.

Maison Blanche is basically a witbier and a fairly nicely made one at that. Cloudy light gold, big coriander, orange, wheat and clove aroma. Alright.

Ginger twist Amber ale 4.2% pours the light gold I am coming to expect from these guys. Nice fruity ginger and light Pilsner malt notes. Somewhat radler like but tasty.

On hand pump at Frog XVI in Paris. Yorkshire bitter pours a similar crazy pale gold as Pearl & Baba Boom. Are these guys cheating out on the use of malts? Citrus aroma and decent flavor but not at all what I’d imagine when someone says a bitter.
