Op tap bij de Beer Fountain. Donkerbruine kleur, beige kraag. Volle bak butterscotch, zoet, caramel, hint van koffie, heel licht gebrand, erwtjes, man wat een bak brouwfouten. Lichte body.

Bottle at Sir William's Pub in Ljubljana. Pours hazy honey amber color, topped with thinner off white head. Nice honye nose, gentle but easily picked up with just a hint of grassiness in the back. Taste follows, a combination of sweet and earthy honey notes with some mild bitterness in the finish, a bit peppery and lasting aftertaste. Nice honey lager.

On tap at Sirr William's Pub in Ljubljana for St. Patrick's Day. Darker green color, topped with medium white head. Bready maltiness with some grassiness in the nose. Decent hoppy bitterness, grassy in character with slight lemony feel. Lasting aftertaste. Lighter body. A green lager, that's it.

Keg at Tokyo Piknik, Ljubljana. Near black, creamy head. Coffee, chocolate and notes of butter up front. Mid sweet with light-medium body and gentle, well rounded mouthfeel. Crramy chocolate and coffee, notes of grain and licorice. Fairly low bitterness. Relaxed and really likable.

Keg at Tokyo Piknik, Ljubljana. Almost clear golden colour, small head. Fruity herbal nose with some hay. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Grainy and bready with mild notes of butter and hay. Floral hay-like hops comes to dominate. Mildly bitter finish. Quite sophisticated for a Slovenian brewpub beer.

Bottled at Sir William’s, Ljubljana. Cloudy dark brown, small creamy head. Tarry licorice aroma. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Sugar and salmiak, some chocolate. Quite low bitterness. Interesting, but could do with reduced sweetness.

Bottled 500ml. -at Sir William’s Pub Ljubljana. Dark golden (almost amber) coloured, small creamy off-white head, grassy nose. Grassy, slightly bready, mild herbal hoppy and notes of caramel with moderate bitterness in the finish. All in all pretty ordinary. Two days before BBE date, have to try it fresh again.

0.5 l bottle shared with lovely Anja at Sir William’s Pub, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Clear amber with medium creamy off white head. Malty and somewhat metallic aroma, twigs, slightly floral. Heavy malty taste, very bread-like, full taste, I like it. Medium carbonation, thick bread-like finish. Not bad at all.
