Description
The first Dubrovnik craft beer Republika APA has been on the market since April 2017.

Republika is made in the style of American pale ale with a pronounced cascade hop aroma that gives this ale a recognizable and pleasant citrus flavor and medium bitterness.

Republika is also an excellent choice after a meal, especially grilled meat or fried and baked meat specialties, and cheese and desserts.

boca 0,33L - kupljena u Intersparu u Osijeku - nažalost boca koja je stradala zbog uvjeta skladištenja kao i Varionicina IPA koju sam kupio kod njih

Mirisa baš i nema nekakvog, jako pitka piva. OK ali nije mi se baš nešto posebno svidjela.

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy copper pour, thin soapy layer on top. No lacing. Fruity nose, a bit shy citrus and tropical notes combined with somewhat sour yeasty background. Thin body, medium to high carbonation. Prickly on the tongue, fizzy mouthfeel. Light texture, a bit on the watery side. Mildly bitter taste with medium fruity sourness. Aroma of caramel, grassy hops and citrus fruits. Tropical notes in the background. Yeasty. Sour aftertaste, drying mouthfeel. Short finish. Not bad. Good thirst quencher.

Apr. '17. A 0.5 l bottle at Splash, Split. As "Barba Single Hop Cascade" - white one. It poured a clear orange to amber body with medium sized head. Light aroma of grapefruit and light biscuit malt Flavor was light as well, lightly bitter, lightly malty, following the aroma which reflected into finish as well. Medium bodied. A decent beer, but maybe a bit too simple. Expected more from this one after the initial regular beer and its tweaked versions' successes.

.5 liter bottle poured at Beer Factory, Dubrovnik. An absolute gusher of a bottle here. Almost to the point of concern. Soft cloudy golden orange with an endless foam head. Aroma is heavy with grains. Earthy flavor, a bit of grassy hops to pair. Has the feel of an IPL as far as both taste and my experiences with them go. Light, cool finish. Drinks pretty nice overall. Refreshing enough. Not bad

0.5 l bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared on the dile! Cloudy golden, medium to large creamy off-white head. Spicy hops, pepper, some fruits, light phenolic. Light flavours, very light phenols. Malts, ripe fruit. Hops moderately present in bitterness. Not in the best shape any more, but I will rate it because it is still pretty good, so I won't count the offs. Dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation.
