Barwa złota, zmętnione, piana biała, dość obfita i dość drobna, ale niezbyt trwała i bez zdobień na szkle. W aromacie słodowe, lekko słodkie, leciuteńka nutka chmielowa. W smaku słodowe, lekko chlebowe, troszczeczkę utlenione, ale minimalnie, do tego nutka chmielowa, trawiasta. Goryczka średnia, przyjemna, niezła treść nawet, wysycenie w normie, dobra pijalność, po ogrzaniu lekkie estry wychodzą. Solidne piwo, nie spodziewałem się tego, zwłaszcza, że zwykłe Królewskie to zawsze był typowy sikacz, ale wersja niefiltrowana jest naprawdę w porządku. Do codziennego popijania daje radę.

Unter dem Titel Warka Classic bzw. Warka Beer wird das alte Warka 1478 mit leicht veränderten Alkoholgehalt neu herausgegeben. Doch es bleibt was es immer war: Ein leicht zu trinkendes Industriebier, das nirgendwo aneckt, recht bekömmlich und flach ist. Kann man in großen Mengen trinken, aber kein wirkliches großes Geschmackserlebnis.

Can, from the local shop. 5.5%. Clear gold. Thin, white head. Nose has crisp, light grain. A little yeasty. Some lemon hop. Taste has a little sweetness, with some leafy hop bitterness. Fairly clean mouthfeel. Light bitter finish. Better than you might expect, and one I’d have again.

W smaku lekko kwaskowe, zielone jabłko, gruszka, dość słodkie, ale bez przesady. Wysycenie wysokie, dobra nawet pijalność. Podobne do cydru, jednak słodsze, ale w granicach dopuszczalności.

500 ml bottle into lager glass, best before 10/29/2015. Pours crystal clear golden amber color with a 1 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of honey, cracker, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of honey, cracker, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of honey, cracker, toasted biscuit, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a goods bit. Nice robustness and balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness as well. Very clean on lager flavors with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, fairly creamy/grainy, and slightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a good strong pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and clean to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
