Pours very dark brown; looks almost black in the glass with the lightest reddish hints through light. Average sized mocha/yellowish head shows good enough retention and a bit of lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: a quite soft maltiness with caramel followed by notes of chocolate and long coffee. A hint of fruitiness (red fruits) and of something suggesting dark malts acidity. Taste notes as per aroma; there's indeed a quite significant amount of something acrid, perhaps even slightly sour, though not unbearable. The beer is overall quite sweet for the style, but there's enough balance in a semi-dry finish that shows enough neutral bitterness. Light to medium body and carbonation, quite easy to drink with just a hint of creaminess. Though slightly off i still found it decently enjoyable; guess it could be pretty good, maybe an inconsistent batch.

Tap At BeerGeek Bar. Red-amber body, lasting off-white head. Flowery hoppy aroma, berry notes. Light taste, light dark bread, dry, quite subdued even for 10° in the end with an abrupt finish, but generally pretty nice.

PETka from Kralupská Pivotéka. Deep brown with a mid-sized beige-brown head. Caramel and chocolate dominate, some dark honey, shy earthy hops in the finish. Smooth and velvety palate. Delicious.

bottle from Pivotéka Kralupy nad Vltavou. Slightly hazy golden yellow, mid-sized white head. Lovely bitter-hoppy nose. Light-bodied, yet with an explosion of hoppy goodness, fruity, very resiny and bitter in a lovely way. A real flavour bomb, well done.

PETka from Pivotéka Kralupy nad Vltavou. Slightly hazy, deep golden colour with a small white head. Fruity nose. Solid malty base, good saazy hopy and shy hints of fresh apples. Lingering bitter-sweet finish. A classic Czech lager with a rural twist.
