Notes for members:-
Celt Experience and Fire Island beers should be added under those entries.
The Archers entry is for Archers beers brewed on that site up until 2009. Any beers continued to be brewed under the Archers name appear under Evan Evans brewery with an Archers prefix.
The same applies to J Buckley beers (ceased brewing in 1998), who were taken over initially by Brains, then the brand sold on to Evan Evans.
As locations go, we’re incredibly lucky. Based here in Llandeilo in West Wales, we can open the brewery doors wide and look out over the breathtaking Black Mountains. We’re as passionate about the surroundings we brew in as we are about the brewery itself. Whilst our 250-year history of brewing is at our core, we believe strongly in innovation. Evan Evans is a modern, state-of-the-art brewing plant, capable of producing around 3 million pints every year using the finest raw materials and the attention to detail that makes us who we are.

Cask handpull at Society Rooms Spoons Maidstone. Clear gold lasting white head. Pleasant enough malty cereal beer. Not much yeast or hop but the malts are decent. A little light bitterness on the finish.

Cask @ Master Mariner JDW, New Brighton [120615]
Golden, clear, dense white head
Aroma of light malts, bit mineraly, very dull fruits, slight cleaning cloth
Taste of bitter hops, mainly just bitterness, bit earthy, some soft pale malts
Palate - Medium to thin body, a bit creamy. Finish is a bit astringent in the linger
Overall - Not great tbh here...prob needs a re-rate

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Amber with a small white head and a light fizz. Bland and rather watery caramel with a trace of grassy hops and maybe some pepper. A nothing beer, did nothing for me anyway.

Cask @ The Paramount, Manchester. Served by a man who told me he was allergic to hops! Poor sod! Glowing clear golden with a small head. Hoppy, not nutty at all, with a balance of fruit and spice. Some sweet berry in its nose.
