Hamilton Hall Spoons. Light haze on this amber beer. Little white head. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Very mild carbonation. Silky mouthfeel. Well balanced creamy malt with medium bitter orange hops. Finishes semi dry with nice bitterness. Standard stuff but done well.

Ruby red colour. Aroma is of toasty malts. Flavour is malty, woody. Slightly drying with a light bitterness. Very smooth texture.

Cask at the John Logie Baird (JDW), Hastings. Golden amber with a thin cream head; the aroma is light and floral; the flavour is rather herbal, unusual and quite pleasant; then the finish is sweet with some gentle hops. Nicely different from the run-of-the-mill bitters.

Cask handpull at Baker Street Spoons. Light brown with thin white head. Some rose petal. Touch of mintyness. Very floral and slightly minty and malty beer. Bit bizarre but good condition but fine

Cask at Grapes Hotel, Maentwrog. Amber colour. Fruity nose with fresh hay. Mid dry, medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Firm malt backed by sufficien thay-like hops. Good late bitterness.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is smooth roasted malty and light butterish. Ends dry and bitter into a dry finish. Bitter and dry roasted finish. Ends bitter.
