From cask at Standing Order. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is slight fruity and light toasted malt. Slight overripe fruity, apples and mild citrusy. Toasted malt base. Bitter and fruity into a medium dry finish.

Cask@GBBF2010. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, floral hops, a bit bready malts along with some herbs. Flavour is fruits, wood, earth and some berries and mild grainyness.

Cask, Rigby’s Liverpool. Hmm, thought these had gone out of business, and a September beer in July ? Whatever, this was entirely forgettable fayre. Sweet malts, lack of palate. Yawnsville. Don’t think I’ll be mourning the demise of this brewery on the strength of output like this.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a gone head. Aroma is mild herbal and slight citrusy. Sweet, citrusy and crisp hoppy. Bitter and mild citrusy into the finish.

bottle from Bacchus Crickhowell. Clear deep golden colour with an amber glow. Malty with a lovely bitter hop character. Hints of caramel and roasted malts.

bottle, from Bacchus Crickhowell. Clear golden colour, mid-soized white head. Light-bodied. Good malty background with grassy hops and a pleasant fruity touch, concisting mainly of citrus fruit. Light and delicious.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, keller, fruity, apple notes, toffee, light hoppy, citrus, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090804]

50 cl bottle from Plonkers, Derby. Gold with a thin yellow head; stewed malt aroma; over-boiled, but fruity, malt flavour; touch of hops to the finish. Boring.
