Very thick, dark cream to huge head over fully opaque brown beer. Chocolate a mile out, thick cacaocream, and a hint at tobacco. Sweet and dry chocolate, again some tobacco. Long lasting flavour. Other grains, the oats making themselves really present, also characteristically in the very creamy feel. Good carbonation, feeling rather better bodied. Amusing. Txs to Joren!

500ml can, shared with friends at HIFo festen. Fluffy white head over a golden body with a haze of wheat, spotty lacing. Fresh smell of pale malts added by a citric note. Mixed taste of orange, wheat, and grain. Mild fruity bitterness to the finish. Food friendly. (Tromsø, 12.03.2026).

Can @ home. Slightly unclear golden body under a fine white head. Mild aroma, some pale malt, hint of citric fruit, wheat and a touch of spicy yeast. Taste is mild as well, soft, light pale malt, hint of wheat, hint of citric fruit, slightly spicy yeast and OK bitterness. Balanced body with a relatively short aftertaste. Decent beer, but not very exciting, not much going on really. And where did the wheat IPA come from? Can’t see anything regarding this in the description, this is not a very typical wheat nor IPA. Perhaps a hoppy American wheat?

Can. Fruity, citrusy, with some spiced hints and pale malts. Decent bitterness. Kind of decent, although a bit too gentle in ways. Not bad though. 646312 260228

Bottle @ home. Almost clear golden body under a fine frothy white head. Aroma has pale malt, some fruitiness, hint of wood and slightly funky. Taste has malt, wood, saison yeast and a spicy touch. Taste is medium sweet, soft malt, generic fruitiness, spicy yeast, distinct wood and balanced bitterness. Balanced body with a nice, smooth aftertaste. I really got a soft spot for these wooden barrel versions of saison/golden ale kind of beers with a mild/soft flavour of pale malt in combination with a vinous wooden touch. This might not be the best version but even as a mid-range version it’s definitive a nice treat for enjoying a nice beer as it is.

Bottle. Nice looking and quite nice, but the alcohol feels like 8 or 9% ABV, not 7%. Kind of Saison-ish, borderlining a Tripel or pale Quadrupel. Fruity, lightly tropical. Some grassy hints. Gentle maltyness. Some herbal, spiced hints. 746413 260118
