Bottle from Aldi, Longford [111216]
Light straw, crystal clear, bubbly white head
Aroma of light sweet pale malt, light spicy hops
Taste as aroma, touch of sweet light caramel
Palate - Soft carb, light body, light bitter, clean palate. Finish is a bit dry, soft spicy hops.
Overall - Not a big fan of lagers, but this is now much improved from the poor over malty buttery beer I tried a couple of years ago. Much cleaner palate.

Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Pours hazy reddish amber. Lots of butter and sweaty sock over burnt bread. Not my cup of... Beer. Body works better, light and rather on the bitter side. Also watery, though. Oh well, not a beer that you have to try.

Keg @ The Barrel Store, Carrick on Shannon [221215]
Black, thin white head, slight lacing
Aroma of soft roast, citrus hops, soft piney hops
Taste of soft roast, citrus hops, dark malts, dab of dusty dark cocoa, definite juicy orange in this, quite complex
Palate - Medium carb, medium light body, a bit thin, soft sweet. Finish - definite orange juice in their in the finish
Overall - Good orange in here, unusual to find a beer with orange that actually has any orange in it, tad too thin but moreish flavour. One of their best.

Fraught at The Headline. Hazy gold with a thin head, excellent lacing. Aroma is thin hop. Flavour is thin bitter hop, a little fruit. Flavour really grows at the back of the throat, starts watery but grows into a nice session ale. Good flavour, good abv

Keg @ The Barrel Store, Carrick-on-Shannon [250715]
Blonde, hazy, thin white head
Aroma of light sweet fruits, soft apricot, soft wheat
Taste of soft fruits, light apricot, bit smoky, no clove or bubble gum notes usually found in a Hefeweizen, odd smoky damp hay overpowers the other flavours
Palate - Medium carb, light medium body. Finish quite dry, bitter hay.
Overall - That strong smoky hay note makes this hard going...noticed it in the Coalface BIPA too in the same pub...not sure it’s meant to be like this

Bottle shared at Paul’s thanks to wingman. Reddy brown coloured pour with a thin light tan head. Aroma pine needle, strawberry, brown malts, little earthy. Flavour is composed of charcoal, pine, berry hop, palate is medium light, moderate carbonation. Not much to it. Finish has some nutty earthy berry.
