Austmann is a craft brewery located in Trondheim, Norway. 50% owned by Hansa Borg Bryggerier from January 2016 to April 2020. Moved from Bynesveien 48 in April 2018. Taproom opened in the summer 2018. Local ownership from April 2020. Opened a taproom in the city center named «Aust 63˚ nord» in September 2025.

From can at MB2 25.05.23. Milky pale peach colour. Aroma and taste of papaya, tamarind, lychee, sorrel, grapefruit, pineapple, oat and a hint of leech. Some sap in aroma. Pine bitterness is lingering on.

Klar golden med fluffy hvit topp. Aroma; Malt, nyklipt gress og brunt sukker. Smak; Gress, malt, grønt eple. Forfriskende og helt greit øl. Kjøpt på ekstra Grønnegata, Tromsø.

(Bottle) Black colour with brief, foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with liquorice, black coffee, cacao, black-pepper, tobacco and a touch of smoke. Malty, roasted, sweetish taste with notes of salty liquorice, black coffee, dark chocolate, black-pepper, toasty coconut, treacle and a balanced cacao bitterness in the finish. Full body, quite sweet. On the sweet side, but really rich and tasty. Very nice.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain, corn and floral and grass. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long grain, corn and grass finish. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Can. A clear one, golden in color, with a small white head. Grainy, dusty and fruity aroma, lightly piney and peppery. It's thin on the palate, with a decent carbonation. Sort of dryish. Grainy, fruity flavor too, with hints of pale malts, pine cones and some dusty cellar. Short finish. Not worth waiting for... 230408
