33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet Kiellandsplass. Pours slightly hazy orange with a lasting white head. Mild fruity aroma with yeasty notes, spices and hints of citrus. Moderate sweet and fruity with a fairly mild bitterness. Medium body with slightly soft carbonation. Mild in flavour, not so exciting, but quite pleasant still. (Batch: #6)

Small dark brown head. Opaque black body. Roasty chocolatey red fruit aroma with toffee and blueberry notes. Dry-sweet roasty chocolatey taste with mealy fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish roasty burnt chocolate aftertaste with red fruit and blueberry notes. Nice, drinkable, unusual. This is a difficult beer to pull off, but they mostly get away with it. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly, web order.)

Flaske fra polet: Så kjekt med et nytt norsk mikrobryggeri! En lett og fin kopibelgier som kan nytes i mange sammenhenger. Ingen skarpe kanter, men heller ingen stor personlighet.

On tap at Amundsen, Oslo. ABV was 7%. Dark reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Moderate but nice aroma, malts and a hint of spices. Malty flavour with some caramel, but not sweet. Some spices. Dry and dusty hops in the finish. Not bad, but not remarkable either.

Small white head. Hazy amber body with light carbonation. Mealy herbal fruity aroma with spicy notes. Dryish spicy herbal mealy taste with papery notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish herbal spicy papery aftertaste with mealy notes. It’s really pretty boring, and not that good. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly web order.)
