Backlog from 2014 KØLF tasting. Unclear dark ambert body with a thin, fast dispersing off-white head. Aroma of dark malt, licorice, some dark fruit and Christmas spices. Flavor is sweet and quite strong in the same direction as aroma. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. I guess this is not everybody flavors and in addition there seems to have been some bad bottles out there, but personally I enjoyed this a lot and it also gave me some Christmas spirit.

Backlog from 2014 KØLF tasting. Unclear dark orange body with a thin, lacing off-white head. Aroma has caramel malt and chocolate. Not able to detect any port. Flavor is quite sweet malt with some caramel and hint of dry fruit, slightly spicy and low bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Feels like promising but to straight forward. Probably a beer with incomplete potential.

Backlog from 2014 KØLF tasting. Unclear amber body with a big, dense beige head. Aroma is malty with some caramel and dry red fruit. Flavor is sweet with malt, caramel, dry fruit and a bit earthy. Medium body and average aftertaste. Drinkable, but feels a bit plain and straight forward.

From tap at Borefts ’15. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, chilli peppers, lots of coffee. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a moderately bitter finish. Chilli starts out subtle but builds as the beer warms up. Lots of coffee in this one. Very good.

From tap at Borefts ’15. Aroma of malt, dark fruits, sweetish and tart berries. Flavour is moderately sweet and light tart, with a vague hint of sourness. Body is medium. Not very outspoken, but a decent agreeable beer.

Bottle at home. Aroma is yeasty, fruity hops, slightly tart citrus, lemon, light bready malt, wheaty. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. A bit mild but easily drinkable, some pleasant yeasty and citrus notes.
