500ml bottle as Sainsbury's English Vintage Cider 2022. Same ABV. Very pale yellow, clear complexion, sparkling. Has that familiar Westons sweetness, but at a lower strength, sticky finish on the palate. Fine.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy pale gold with lace. Quite tannic nose, lots of skin. Some oak, lemon, grapefruit. Dry flavor, quite bitter, medium sweetness, citrus, light funk, apple. Nice balance.

Draught: Poured a clear golden color cider with good carbonation. Aroma of semi-sweet apple notes is dominant. Taste is also a mix of semi-sweet apple notes with some light residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Refreshing with a limited level of complexity.

On tap at the Wharf, as Rosie's Pig Rhubarb. An unclear orangey pink cider, still and headless. The aroma is quite gentle, mixing rhubarb and apple juice. Lightly grassy, some apple cores and a hint of damp forest. It's quite thin on the palate, with a light sourness. Apple and rhubarb in the flavor too, quite gentle and with little complexity. Medium length lightly puckering finish. Rather dull this one, which is a pity, rhubarb can be nice in cider done properly. 230808

Bottle from Morrisons Inverurie. It pours crystal clear golden - amber with a quickly dissipating white head. The aroma is sour green chewits, fizzy candy, granny smith apple, white grape, gooseberry, boiled sweets and soor plooms. The taste is crispy, dry, crunchy, snappy, sweet - sour, green apple, juicy, puckering, dry oak, tannin, apple pie, soor plooms, fizzy candy, dull farmyard, limeade, some chalkiness and warming alcohol with a drying finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Drinks pretty easily tbh. Decent.

3 litre box shared with Soph. Pours clear gold, still. Aroma of rosey golden medium apple fruit. Taste is clean, easy-drinking, light and balanced with an appealing fruity character, light woody shades, gentle tang as it passes down the throat. Pretty nice summery box to while away the hours.

Enjoyed several of these at T20 Finals Day at Edgbaston - smells of dark berries (really?), pretty fizzy, it's a fruity number, like tartish Vimto
