500ml bottle from Morrisons, Darlington. Pale golden colour, bubbly white foam head that dissipates and aroma of apple, fleshy, core and skin, sulphur hint. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, some skin and core, with mellow tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite OK

6.8% version on tap at The Bankers Draft, Eltham. Hazy gold pour. Nose is baked apple, touch of lychee. Taste is much the same. Quite smooth. Very easy drinking given the strength.

Bag-in-a-box at the New Union, Kendal as Henry Westons Cloudy Vintage Still Cider. Hazy straw colour. Sweetish apple juice. A touch of vanilla. A hint of lemon tartness and barnyard funk. Smooth. It's fine if a bit safe, clearly designed to appeal to the mass market.
