EKU ist echt eine angestaubte Marke. Ich muss da direkt an Leute in der Nachbarschaft meiner Jugend denken, ne Pulle in der Hand hielten und mit einer Fluppe Ernte 23 auf dem Weg zum Kegeln waren. Aber das ist jetzt auch schon 35 Jahre her.
Also geben wir EKU halt noch ne Chance.
Optisch klares Gold, kaum Perlung, Schaum bricht gleich weg. In der Nase tatsächlich etwas crispy - ist ja schließlich auch das Festbier, Pappa hat sich nicht lumpen lassen.
Im Trunk dann Getreide, fängt gut an, hinten wird’s dann aber wässrig, fast plädderich. Da isser wieder der Kegelabend. Aber zu ner Ernte bestimmt das Highlight des Tages.
Also geben wir EKU halt noch ne Chance.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is sweetish grainy malt with straw and a touch of noble hop. Flavour is a bit sweetish with a light to moderate bitterness. Medium body. Fairly average German Pils, a bit sweeter than I like.

Bottle from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Wheaty aroma with a hint of wheaty sourness. Yeasty and a bit spicy, soft ripe banana but not remarkably fruity like citrus. Medium body. Smooth, wheaty sourness, decent.

Barva svetle zlatava. Pena nizka a brzo pryc. Vune sladova, trocha korenena. Chut sladova, dojezd suchy, trochu dokysela peprny konec. Plnost stredni. Horkost nizsi stredni. Solidni nemecky lager.
