500ml bottle, presumably a NZ brewed version. Pours black with a tan head. Chocolate, liquorice, leather, cigar smoke, prunes. Medium body, could do with some heft. Good.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Daniel. Almost clear gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light and smooth and has reasonable fine carbonation. Light and sweetish malts. Resinous citric hop. Mild pine. Touch of hop spice. Light finish. Lacks a little brightness but good enough.

Bottle shared on Level 42 27/07/2016. Many thanks to Daniel for this one. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a a fine white head. Aroma is semi sweet malts, orange rind, floral, citrus. Flavour is semi sweet grains, orange rind, pineapple, hint of caramel, Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation.

Bottle shared on level 42 - huge thanks to Daniel for this rarity. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Pleasant citrus in the nose, pale bread, tangerine, melon. Medium sweet flavour with simple bready pale malts, more citrus fruits, mellow meringue, low bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, with pale crackery, white bread, tangerine, low bitterness. Fine, if a bit simple.

Bottle at Level 42, thanks to Dirty Dee, 27/07/16. Clear golden orange with moderate off white spotting. Nose is orange pith, straw, melon, light bread. Taste comprises tangerine, light citric peel, soft bread, apricot, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Average for style.

Keg at Beer Emporium, Bristol. My version is at 6%, which I believe was batch #1. It pours clear gold with a decent white head. The nose is fresh, clean, hob nob biscuit, grapefruit, orange peel and varnish. Taste is crisp, orange peel, citrus, digestive biscuit, soap, light sweetness, white grape skin with a touch of sherbet and lemon with a dry finish. Medium body , fine carbonation and touch of alcohol. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle thanks to Ed. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - grapefruit and fresh sweat. Taste - loads of sweat and lemon. Light toffee in the back. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - solid.
