Can@Pien, Helsinki. Pit h black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, coffee, maple and some nutty tones. Flavour is liquorice, some coffee, maple and mild alcohol. Some roasted tones in the finish.

Can, bb 1/26. (Cellars Bentleigh.) Black with a dense fat coat of beige head that never quite retreats all the way to the rim. Aroma of coffee, some singed caramel, roast, dark chocolate. Pretty light bodied. Some red berries as part of the coffee. Acrid and excessively bitter coffee flavours avoided. Nice coffee but not a lot of beer behind until a bit of bitterness and lingering roast at the end.

Can. Black with a fat coat of tan head. Assertive coffee and roast aroma with some caramel. Just medium bodied. Clean with much more coffee than chocolate, light berries and some orange towards the fairly bitter finish. Not dry, but the sweetness is carefully restrained. Good.

Can from The Lanes Cellar, Orange NSW. Thick black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are sweet banana. Slight chocolate and syrup. Hints of hints and a light spice. Sweet to finish. Rich thick body.

Rated at Pien Shop. Heavy, sweet, creamy and spicy with loads of lactic notes, roastiness, stingy chili, marshmallows, cocoa and milk sugar. A bit unbalanced, way too much lactic notes here
