Level 42 bottleshare, Santa is flying past below! Thanks to Paul. Hazy deep amber - brown beer, good pale tan head. Softish malts, dry and with modest fine carbonation. Tangy malts. Some sour red/brown vibes here. Mild pine and tangy fruits. Dry and bitterish finish. Interesting but not very CDA like.

Bottle picked up in Cape Town and shared at level 42. It pours deep brown with a thick beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, brown bread, marmalade, orange / tangerine, pine and varnish. The taste is dry, bitter, toasty malts, quite fragrant, orange peel, marmalade, tangy berry, peach and tangerine. Medium body and moderate - high carbonation. Tastes a lot like tangy orange marmalade. A bit unusual, but not bad.

Bottle hates in London - thanks to Paul. Pours deep brown with a foamy, light khaki head. Tangy berries in the nose, brown bread toast, earth. Light to midi sweet flavour with suggestions of infection, more tangy berries, brown bread, earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Tart berry finish, some toffee, a little woody dryness. I can’t imagine this is as intended. Novel as it stands.
