Bottle @ thewolf-and-his-flock-of-sheep tasting session. Clear dark color, short head. Soft roasted malty aroma, hint of rye and blackcurrant. Very malty taste, bit creamy, hint of chocolat. Nice.

Bottle@TheWolf,tasting. Pours brownish/amber with a small white head. Aroma is lighly roasted malts - chocolate mainly. No carbonation at all. Soft mouthfeel with a very ashy ยด& dusty end. Not good!

Cask (handpump) @ New Oxford, Manchester M4, UK. Clear medium to dark black color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Very nice and easy to drinke. (200108)

Cask (gravity filled jug) @ Smithfield Hotel & Bar, Manchester M4, UK. Light unclear medium amber color with a small, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat. Cask-conditioned at the Bag OโNails, Bristol 27/11/07. Amber bitter with a moderate off-white head. Aroma had a hint of caramel and red fruit with some earthy hops. Decent malty flavour with a dry finish. A pleasant session bitter.

Cask gravity at Nottingham BF 2007. Copper with bubbly beige head. Itโs a slightly fruity bitter. Decent raspberry/strawberry, some yeast. Itโs a bitter.
