Dark grey brown. Smells maltingly sweet. Smooth flat taste was fairly sweet and had a little alcohol taste lingering in the back. Not very complex, had a decent sized body. Belhaven knocks this one flat on its back though due to the better complexity of Belhaven.

Dark amber colour with a thin off-white head. The smell was somewhat vinegary and very malty. The taste was somewhat mild and fairly malty tasting. The beer wasn't bad, and tasted pretty good. The aftertaste was about normal for this style, the body of the beer was actually pretty thick. Worth trying if you can find it on tap and you don't want any of their other beers. I had this at Lorraine's in Rochester, New York.

Dark colour, especially for a pale ale. Good aroma, and a nice slightly hoppy taste! Pretty good aftertaste, definately worth a try if you can find it! Had on tap from Mex, in Rochester, New York.
