Keg at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden. Darkest cola brown. Foamy beige head. Aroma has generous cacao with a hint of a berry edge. Flavourwise those berries really.assert themselves- a sourness, over creamy cocoa. But the sournwss ultimately dominates. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Decent stuff. Characterful Black Lager.

(Can, 0.44l, from Seven Cellars, Brighton, 20250912) The beer poured yellow and opaque. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had ripe fruits, pineapple and citrus fruits. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were ripe fruits, pineapple, spiciness, floralness and bitterness. Aftertaste had passion fruit, sweetness and bitterness. A bit too sweet.
