Description
Platform was founded in 2014 on the premise that collaboration should be at the cornerstone of everything that we do. Whether it be with pro brewers, the home brewing world or a variety of other industries, beer is special and should be shared.
From humble beginnings, brewing on a 3 bbl brewhouse in Cleveland, Platform has expanded to a second Tasting Room in Columbus, a Production Facility in Cleveland, a Cincinnati Tasting Room named LOCOBA and a Sour Beer Facility named Phunkenship

We brew high-quality craft beers for sale in our tasting rooms and distribute throughout Ohio. Expect a mix of ever-changing styles inspired by beer trends.

Can at the Columbus taproom. Slightly hazy golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of floral hop, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

White can with orange yellow and blue stripes. Very nice slightly hazy yellow pour with a big frothy white head. Smell is typical veggie like session IPA. First taste is a little rubbery, much like most session IPA with a followup of rude IPA typicalness. Yes, rubbery nastily negative IPA, pretty much on style for an Ipa but forgive me this: Why would anybody subject themselves to straight up rude ass IPA character without a little alky buzz to go with it? Just asking. WTF. What - ever. Just a tick.

Pours amber with a lacing white head. Aroma of lemon meringue. Taste has lactic notes, intense citrus, lemon. Palate has lingering vanilla overlain with lemon tartness. Interesting.

Black pour with some mahogany around the edges, and a medium thick beige head that recedes gradually to a film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, caramel and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, chocolate-covered banana and vanilla. The finish is sweet with a caramel and chocolate aftertaste. Above average overall.

Can. Slight aroma of apricot. Cloudy off pale. Thin head. Very good initial co2 on the palate. Taste is slightly tart, somewhat fruity with a follow up of astringent bitter hops. A little better than most peach beers, not cloying. Somewhat rude in the middle. Difficult, tho not too artificial. Bitter hops override the finish.

$2 can from vintage. Pour is big bubbly cloudy with a thick craggy head. Nose is simply pine and sweet hops. Quite large and in charge on the palate. Its overwhelmingly bitter bullshit. Why do so called real men really like high hopped beers? Who knows and so what. Pretty good co2 content for a bitter beer, this males it somewhat refreshing. Overall just another of a gozzillion IPA out there, who cares if its cloudy or not, they all taste the same; straight up ass bitter & happy BS. Go figger. Not impressed.

Dark pink pour. It has a tart, fruity aroma. It has a nice, moderately tart flavor with prominent raspberries and other mixed fruit flavors. It's refreshing and tasty.
