Description
Platform was founded in 2014 on the premise that collaboration should be at the cornerstone of everything that we do. Whether it be with pro brewers, the home brewing world or a variety of other industries, beer is special and should be shared.
From humble beginnings, brewing on a 3 bbl brewhouse in Cleveland, Platform has expanded to a second Tasting Room in Columbus, a Production Facility in Cleveland, a Cincinnati Tasting Room named LOCOBA and a Sour Beer Facility named Phunkenship
We brew high-quality craft beers for sale in our tasting rooms and distribute throughout Ohio. Expect a mix of ever-changing styles inspired by beer trends.

Sample at The Draft Room during the Ellison Brewery Launch Event on 02/28/2019. Cloudy straw-gold color with a medium bright white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Tropical fruit, hops and pineapple in the nose. Medium body with flavors of pineapple, herbal hops, coconut and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop and coconut aftertaste. Above average overall.

Can at home via BD. It pours jet black with a thick, foamy beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, big coffee character, roasted malt, cacao nibs, bit of rocky road, some smoke, charcoal and light molasses. The dry, touch of bitterness, toasty, roasted malt, plenty of coffee character, caffeine hit, light charred wood, toasted nut, hint of brown sugar, umami, earth and spice with a drying, charry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Flavoursome and comes together well. Decent gear.

Can via BrewDog online. It pours cloudy orange with a medium white head. The aroma is quite fresh, sweet, juicy, ripe peach, nectarine, mango, papaya and fruit smoothie. The taste is dry, crisp, bitter, some greenness upfront, flinty, spicy, ripe stone fruits, papaya, mango, apricot, peach, kick of booze and some rawness with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent, but maybe a touch raw? Not bad.

Can picked up at BD Online. It pours cloudy rich orange with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, loads of mango, peaches & cream, nectarine, orange creamsicle and um bungo. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, more on the sweet side, touch of vanilla yoghurt, toasted oats, nectarine, pithy satsuma, peach skin, Fanta ice cream, touch of rawness and hop burn with an orangey finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Decent for the style (which isn't my favourite tbh)

Look, I don't like IPA, so the worse my rating, the better this can of brew is. It pours with a big giant foaming head. Hazy as shit, almost muddy but not as bad as many NE IPA I've seen. Taste is big rubbery IPA, all the way, straight up ass, chewing on green bitter unripe citrus rinds. Strong and rude, in yer face, such bitter nasty nellie negatory; big ben. What else can be said, except its a big ass IPA. Just put these all in the same brazillion of like beers style; big fat ubiquitous IPA that always borders the impy double IPA scene. Mouthcoating near viscous finish. GTFOH!
