Description
Platform was founded in 2014 on the premise that collaboration should be at the cornerstone of everything that we do. Whether it be with pro brewers, the home brewing world or a variety of other industries, beer is special and should be shared.
From humble beginnings, brewing on a 3 bbl brewhouse in Cleveland, Platform has expanded to a second Tasting Room in Columbus, a Production Facility in Cleveland, a Cincinnati Tasting Room named LOCOBA and a Sour Beer Facility named Phunkenship

We brew high-quality craft beers for sale in our tasting rooms and distribute throughout Ohio. Expect a mix of ever-changing styles inspired by beer trends.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 1/22/2019. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/caramel/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great, Minimal warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is an awesome NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish; great soft feel. Yet another Voss Kviek yeasted NEIPA. Awesome Simcoe, MBC 438, MI Chinook profile.
