Pours opaquely hazy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/caramel/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/caramel/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, minty, peppery hops; and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great, Minimal warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is an awesome NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish; great soft feel. Yet another Voss Kviek yeasted NEIPA. Awesome Simcoe, MBC 438, MI Chinook profile. Very juicy, vibrant, fairly dank/earthy hops, and fruity/spicy yeast complexity; with a great balancing bready wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example all around.

Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, medium roast coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, wood smoke, toasted biscuit, and dark/brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of molasses, dark fruit, charcoal, herbal, wood, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready/smoked malts, coffee, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, medium roast coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, wood smoke, toasted biscuit, and dark/brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of molasses, dark fruit, charcoal, herbal, wood, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, spicy hops; and charred, roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, medium roast coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, wood smoke, toasted biscuit, dark/brown bread/crust, light molasses/dark fruit, charcoal, herbal, wood, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready/smoked malts, coffee, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying, acrid, astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/char bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky/bready, and fairly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.25%. Overall this is an excellent American coffee porter. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready/smoked malts, coffee, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with mellowly bitter/charred/drying finish. Awesome well rounded rich malts and fruity/nutty coffee complexity; with nice earthy English hop presence/balance against sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected. No complaints.
