Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Dark brown body with ruby highlights and a beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of raisins, blackcurrant, Black Forest gateaux and prunes. Flavour of chocolate cake and earth. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Rich and light at the same time. Sublime.

Can from HAUL!, Birmingham. Aroma has roasty - if light - coffee and malts. Clear opaque cola brown. Thick fluffy foamy beige head. Sweet and tangy. Sugary creaminess before sour berries quickly sweep through. Watery malts into the finish. Medium bodied. Creamy, if mot overly thick. Flat-average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough for a low alcohol beer but still has a watered down element that betrays it's style.

Opaque beer, think tan head which fizzes away. Smells malty, with a dash of chocolate. Flavour has toasty malt, a little chocolate, a little fruit, something a little bready/cakey. Nice balance, rich body, this is very good indeed and manages to be a big punchy beer while still feeling like a mild.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Verksgt., Stavanger. ABV is 6.0%. Hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Distinct aroma of various tropical fruits, also some citrus and spruce. Hoppy and fruity flavour, with the same elements as the aroma. Moderate to low bitterness.

Near-black beer with a solid off white head. Malty aroma. Flavour has a good whack of malt too, along with dried fruit and plum. Has a bit of a sweet, puddingy quality. Both in flavour and having a good body to it. Simple flavours but it's very nice indeed and I like anybody doing things with milds.
