Half-pour at N3 Taphouse. Pours a clear, dark brown color, with no head. The aroma is toasted coconut, huge pineapple, milk chocolate, almond, and candied orange peel. Very sweet and candy-like, without any real bitterness. Medium body, with a slick, boozy mouthfeel. This is a bold and delicious beer, with excellent barrel and fruit flavors.

This beer definitely popped my cherry with a sour taste that hit the spot. Recommended 100%

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Tart boysenberry, cherry and raspberry aromas with some lemon as it warms. Tart with a sharp berry acidity, some skin and seed notes as well. Lingering tartness with some creamy oak possibly. Tart finish with more cherry and berry.

Taster at the brewery - now here is a highlight - really nice balance of mild sweetness, savory character, and subtly complex funkiness - red wine and oak settle subtly in the background/finish - rich but mild, with wonderfully subtle brettt character - nice.

Taster at the brewery - lightly hazy amber - interesting nose of mint, tea, lemon, oak - light-bodied - tastes of mint, eucalyptus, thyme, rosemary, light funk, lemon - it's interesting, but watery and not completely "interesting" in a good way.

Taster at the barrel house - lightly hazy pink - nose of tart and earthy cherry skin, mild funk, sweet berry - texture is a little watery - some dry oaky tannins leading to moderate berry character - subdued, approachable sourness - lingering buggy funk - alright, a little thin overall.

On tap at the Trail's End Taphouse. Pours hazy yellow, with a medium, frothy, white head. The nose is elderflowers, juniper, caramel, cloves, and a bit of hay and banana. Off-dry flavor, and just a bit bitter. Light body, effervescent, smooth, and clean. This is a pretty nice hefeweizen, with an excellent treatment.
