bottle brought home from Fort Collins - cellared since July. Excellent. Loved my visit here and loved the beer i got to try for NYE. Lovely Saison

Bottle split at DS, thanks to Danny, 29/09/22. Black with a tan cap that settles to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, spice, charr, coconut shavings, mellow roast. Taste comprises cacao nibs, spice, mellow whisky barrel, hint of vanilla, dark malts, mellow roast, more coconut presence. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced warming boost. Solid.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Dan. Pours black-brown with a frothy, beige head. Lovely aroma of roast, cocoa and cinnamon. Medium sweet flavour with bittersweet cocoa, subtle roast, a bit of chili, cinnamon, scorched earth. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, bit of ashy roast, toasted cinnamon. Enjoyable gear.

Bottle shared at Columbus tasting 29/09/2022. Thanks to DAniel Osprey. A opaque black coloured pour with a loose light head. Aroma is medium sweet, toasted cinnamon swirl, brown sugars, boozy cinnamon, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, big bitter dark chocolate, rich roast, liquorice, burnt cinnamon pastry. oily. Warming alcohol. Palate is medium sweet, oily, warming alcohol, mellow fine carbonation.
