5oz pour in the tap house. Deep brown appearance with a cola brown head. Aroma has s’mores (especially graham cracker and chocolate), peanuts, roast, and light smoke. Medium body. Carbonation seems a little too high. Moderate high bitterness and moderate sweetness. Chocolate covered nuts. Fairly herbal and woody. Kinda coats my tongue though it’s not syrupy or too sweet. Overall, the flavor is unappealing and the carbonation is too high. I wouldn’t purchase this again.

6oz pour in the tap house. Deep amber appearance with a nice light brown head. Caramel, light DMS / cooked veggie, nuts, whole grain crackers, and a bit of burnt sugar in the aroma. Medium body. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Again, a creeping cooked cauliflower / corn element in the flavor. It’s not awful but certainly not desirable. Hint of chocolate, caramel, and peanut brittle in the mouth as well. Amber ales, in general, are an unappealing style and unfortunately, this is flawed on top of mediocrity. On the verge of being not even worthwhile to finish for the buzz. I’d scroll past this.

6oz pour in the tap house. Fairly clear golden orange appearance with a cream head. Aroma has spicy pine, orange citrus, slightly dank, and some tropical fruit. Medium light body. Moderate high bitterness. Moderate low sweetness. Crackers, green herbal hops, a bit of pine, and some citrus. More bitterness on the finish. Not overly flavorful with a little too much bitterness. Decent but not a repeat order.
