Small beer, big London.

330ml bottle. Pours hazy yellow, two finger white head with nice retention. Aroma of citrus, herbs, grass. Taste is lemon citrus, herby/earthy note, some grass; a bit like a hoppy lager. body is light but good for 2.5%. Its not bad for the ABV.

Rocky off white head stayed on a reddish brown still body. Malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a clean back. Malt, dried fruit & light fruit tastes with a tangy hoppy finish. Decent for what it is

Appearance is quite a dark amber, with a fizzy head. Aroma is malt, lots of raisin and dried fruit, hints of cherry, fruitcake, more malt. Taste is fluffy malt, fruitcake, treacle hints, rye, bready malt, malty smooth mouthfeel. Really good small beer.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden with a big fluffy head. Nose - mixture of pale ale and lager notes going on. Lightly floral but also corn and even some cooked green beans. Taste - still a hit lager-esque but heading more into citrus and flowers this time. Palate - light bodied, dry finish. Overall - decent.

Keg at PoW, Farnborough. Sweet edged eggy aroma. Pale gold. Foamy white head. Medium bitter. Cardboard y underlying umami. A hint of citrus sour on the periphery. Light-medium bodied. Slick if thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Not great. Like a lot of low ABV beers there's a lot of cardboard and added eggyness.

Bottle from Tesco. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of potato and grass. Flavour of earth and lightly roasted malt. Thin body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Forget about the ABV, this isn’t just a good low ABV beer, it’s a clean, tasty Lager.
