500ml bottle. Thx Mjs and FatPhil! Poured hazy orange in color. Thin white head. Spicy nose, birch is evident in flavor. Light sour notes, near flat.

(Bottle, 0.375l, thanks FatPhil, at VastActiv, 20240112) The beer poured golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness, floralness and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, birch leaves, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had spiciness, malts and bitterness. Tasty. Pleasant adjuncts.

RBESG 2023, Zagreb Grand Tasting. Thanks! As Aušrinis Citra & Mosaic. Fruity aroma, citrus and stone fruit, lightly hoppy, also floral and herbal. Sweet, floral, fruity, zesty, finishes sweet. Nice combo. Light body, smooth texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle, at RBESG 2023. Cloudy golden with medium white head. Malty, some herbal notes, grainy, some citrus. Sweetish with moderate bitterness in finish.

Draught. Described as Gruit IPA Medium, stable off-white head over clear chestnut coloured beer, still. Ginger, ginger, ginger. And caramel. Sweetish, bit fade caramel, some herbs, definitely including ginger, as well as bog myrtle. Finish is harsh, resiny bitter. Light body, feeling better carbonated than it looks. Bit aggressive MF. Unusual... don't think gruitbier tasted as such in XIIIth century Brugge...

@BXL Beer Fest. Almost clear dark reddish brown colour, white foam. Light fruity, rye, juniper, herbal.

Dorée, col blanc épais.
Arôme est frais houblonné floral avec un léger retro-nasal herbacé. Malt pils/pâle, effet un peu sous-bois, forêt revient en rétro-nasal, restant out de même sur le côté américain plus que sur le modèle très herbes utilisées par Dundulis.
Palais est malté sur une bonne note de pils, sec en bouche avec un léger fruité/fleuri des houblons – effet un peu nouvelle vague houblonnée rappelant le Mosaic.

Pâle oscillant sur acajou, col faiblard léger blanc-cassé.
Bière classique des pays baltes avec un très bon usage d’herbes souvent sur le côté gruit. Ici, baies sauvages, impression de genévrier, armoise.
