Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear gold with a transient white head. Aroma is kind of oily hops. Citrus, mango, more. Thickish body. It's malty and not exactly dry, but it is quite bitter. It has that mixed oily hop aspect I seem to find in high ABV and heavily hopped ales. Quite fruity in its way. Killer ale.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark gold with a creamy white head that quickly turned foamy and laced. Aroma is tropical. Med body. Flavor has tropicals but also citrus/pine. Juicy and not entirely dry. Bitter, but not harshly so. There's melon and perhaps passion fruit. Hop driven but not really to the West Coast. Nor New England. Tasty in the event.

Can from Trader Joe's in Davis, CA. Pours light bright gold with a large creamy white head. Aroma is bready with some grass/spice. Fairly dry tho bready/crackery. For me a little more bitterness would be nice. Crisp and clean.

Can from Trader Joe's in Davis, CA. Pours copper/amber with a largish foamy near-white head that laced somewhat. Aroma has a little malt and some citrus/resin. Med plus body. Not as dry as an IPA ought to be perhaps, but there's so much resin and bitterness that it all works nicely together. Resin, citrus/orange, melon. Malt is unpale caramel. In the finish my mouth says resin/dry. Don't know where the malt went. Firmly flavored good stuff.

On tap at Fogbelt, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is bitter and piney, with lots of bitter piney hops, and biscuity malt. Bitter, piney finish. It's alright.
