Keg at the brewpub, 04/02/16. Amber with reddish hues topped with a beige swirl. Nose is caramel malt, candied fruit peel, toasted brown sugar, light hop strokes, faint pine. Taste comprises caramel, biscuit, brown sugar, hint of tropicana. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok ... doesn’t deliver a whole lot of depth and a little sweet.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear copper with a creamy tan head. The aroma holds a bit of pine and lightly toasted grains. Light to medium sweet flavor with bitter pine, orange rind, earth. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Bitter earth on the finish, leaves, more toasty malts, rindy orange. Not bad.

Draught at Fogbelt. Clear deep golden liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, mango, caeamel and bread. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of tangerine, citrus, mango and raw sugar. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Unnecessarily sweet, but decent. Quite drinkable.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear gold with a creamy head. There’s some ripe citrus in the nose, orange and tangerine, hints of pine. Medium sweet flavor with some flinty minerals, bitter pine, rindy lemon, grapefruit pith. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Pithy and rindy on the finish, more drying minerality. Just OK.
